The years is 2011. You already have saved enough money to reward yourself with a 2012 Boss 302 Mustang. After the obligatory contract signing, exchange of money, and handshakes, the car salesman hands to you two keys, one of which has a distinct red label on it. You thought it is a spare key, but apparently that key does magic to your dream car.
The TracKey for the Boss 302 Mustang by Ford Motors automatically re-tunes all of the car’s computer-controlled features and make it suitable for a racing environment. One turn on the ignition accesses the car’s launch control, brake balance, fuel mixture, among others. Note, however, that your driving skills has to catch up with such an upgrade or else you end up losing control on the wheel.
As of now, there is no formal announcement as to how much the TracKey will cost and when it will be available.
