A Camera That Takes Other People’s Photos

As a conceptual design , this “blind camera” by Sascha Pohflepp has noble purposes.  The camera does not have any visible lends or viewfinder.  What it does is that whenever the user presses the large red shutter button, the device looks on the Internet for another image that was taken at the same time the button is pushed.  That other photo is then displayed on the LCD.

Ideally, the blind camera is meant to share memories, creating a link between the photographer of the original photo and the person who views it using the blind camera.

The device is part of an art project called “Blinks and Buttons.”  Be sure to check it out!
